Further into the face an exploration of the embryological face in person
This course was designed to help graduates feel confident when working around the face which can be challenging and complex with much detail. In doing so the course will deepen and enrich your understanding of the embryological forces that are present and readily accessible in practice. In the course we will explore:
- facial recognition and the effects of trauma on our expression
- look at facial formation using the work of biodynamic embryologists Erich Bleschmidt and Brian Freeman
- explore more of the intra-oral work on TMJ and maxillae not covered in the undergraduate training
- explore the nose and nasal mucosa
- see how the work of Stephen Porges informs our working with the face
- explore the heart/face connection from an embryological perspective
- access a deepening state of balance behind the face
