Jonathan Chambers
Jonathan holds a Diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy from Body Intelligence and is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) with the Pacific Association of Craniosacral Therapists (PACT).
Originally trained as a seismic engineer, Jonathan has long been interested in the dynamic interplay between form, environment, and natural forces. Around 2003, he shifted focus inward, embarking on an experiential study of how body and mind respond to life’s challenges. This journey has been supported by periods of deep engagement with Ashtanga yoga, Buddhist Dharma and meditation (particularly Vipassana and Dzogchen), and chi-kung. Craniosacral therapy became a key support, offering a gentle yet powerful means of integration.
Jonathan now offers craniosacral therapy from his home clinic in Nelson, New Zealand. He also holds an Ashtanga yoga teaching diploma from Stillpoint (John Scott) and has received the blessing of Lama Chokyi Gyaltsen (Lama Mark Webber) to offer Dharma teachings and meditation guidance. As his schedule allows, he offers classes, workshops, and retreats integrating Dharma, meditation, and somatic practices.
He lives in Nelson with his partner and two young children, balancing family life with a passion for music and a commitment to practicing and supporting others on their journey of healing and awakening.
