Courtney Kerndall
Courtney (any pronoun) is a craniosacral therapist and bodyworker based outside Minneapolis, Minnesota and originally from Boston, Massachusetts. With a background in medical biology from the University of New England and nearly two decades of experience working with nonverbal and medically complex individuals, Courtney has developed a profound respect for the intelligence of the body and the many ways it communicates. Courtney's journey into Craniosacral Therapy began after exploring various roles in the medical field, only to realize that conventional Western medicine often overlooked the body's innate ability to heal. This shift led them to explore a more holistic path that blends their knowledge of movement, fascia, and the body's inherent wisdom. Courtney became a fascial fitness specialist, NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach and has deepened their Craniosacral studies with a foundational course in mechanical CST. They are currently completing their clinical massage therapy education to support their clients further.
Courtney approaches health as a multidimensional experience: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. They believe that healing is an inherent state the body naturally moves toward when given the right environment and support. Their work is rooted in trauma repair, deep listening, and the understanding that no single modality holds all the answers. Courtney strives to connect people with the care and practices that best support their unique healing journey. Courtney is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and supportive space for people of all body types, identities, and abilities. They also advocate passionately for the LGBTQIA+ community, disability rights, and social activism in healthcare and the world at large. When Courtney is not working with clients, they find restoration by hiking, exploring the BWCA in MN, carving traditional Nordic spoons by hand, tending to their bees, or immersing themselves in the rhythms of qigong and energetic herbalism.
