Rose McKenzie
Hello! My name is Rose. I’m naturally curious, with a life-long awe-inspired love of Nature and a perpetual student of the mysteries of life. I love exploring the interface of science and spirituality and planting my bare feet on the forest floor. Some major health issues and challenging experiences led me to the study and practice of natural medicine – both as an essential part of my own healing journey and because of a desire to assist others to achieve lasting healing outcomes. These challenges have equipped me with first-hand experience that enables me to support others navigating difficult terrain with compassion and empathy. The therapies I resonate with all support and empower our innate wholeness, interconnectedness and capacity for self-healing- craniosacral therapy being among the most profound of these.
I’m qualified in naturopathy, herbal medicine, energy healing modalities including Reiki, and a Registered Practitioner of First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® since 2009. I gained my Diploma in BCST with Body Intelligence in 2016, and have enjoyed supporting students and tutor team as an assistant on foundation trainings since then. Ongoing education has included postgrad BCST courses and I’m currently studying Embodied Processing: a trauma-informed somatic coaching practice, which dovetails beautifully with cranio.
I have over 23 years natural health retail experience which continues alongside re-establishing my clinical practice in my home town of Wellington (after 8 years in Palmerston), where I specialise in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand®.
